| Becoming A Member Who Can Join? Membership in Oak Hill Toastmasters is open to anyone 18 years or older who is willing to dedicate time to prepare and participate in our meetings and to support other club members in a friendly, non-judgmental atmosphere. How Can You Join? Come to a meeting! Decide whether Oak Hill Toastmasters is right for you. Our Vice President Membership can provide you with a membership form to submit to Toastmasters International. Fill it out and return it to any club officer along with a once-in-a-lifetime initiation fee of $20 plus your semi-annual dues of $30 (may be prorated at $5 per month). Benefits of Joining As a new member you will receive a membership kit including your basic Communication and Leadership manual and shorter manuals on elements of speaking. You will also receive the monthly Toastmaster magazine and begin to participate in our scheduled program with an experienced club member assigned as your mentor. Best of all, you will become part of a warm, supportive group of people who know how to laugh and learn together.
